Extreme Electric Violin

Raised in Sudbury, Ontario, Steve began studying both classical and bluegrass violin from the age of four. He has spent the last three decades, honing his skills, mastering his instrument and creating a new, modern style violin which is a fusion of all styles and genres. Only shortly after arriving back from an extensive five year tour of South - East Asia, where he starred in his electric violin dance production ‘SHAZAM’,Steve is preparing to release his electric violin fury throughout the GTA.

The show will feature Steve on his multi-effects electric violin, along with his gorgeous Canadian dancers, tearing it up with some of the city’s highest profile D.J.’s. Steve also currently fronts his group ‘Fiddlestix’, who are quickly gathering the reputation of ‘Canada’s newest Celtic rock sensation’.

He spends his days in his Oakville based studio, writing, composing, and rehearsing his dance production, and spends his weekends performing throughout the province at pubs, clubs, corporate events and festivals.
